Once your order is validated, your jewelry is handcrafted with care and precision in our workshop in Mayenne.
A craft workshop, guided by colors and materials
Céline, the founder of Nune, designs and crafts the jewelry with passion, sensitivity, and exacting standards. She recently joined Amélie on this wonderful adventure, bringing as much talent as commitment to the workshop.
Working together, they bring your jewelry to life, in a spirit of vibrant, bespoke craftsmanship. Each piece is designed as a unique creation, carefully crafted with meticulous attention to detail tailored to the material.
Noble, durable and expressive materials
Leather remains Nune's signature. With its diverse colors, textures, and thicknesses, it offers endless creative possibilities. Noble and refined, it is worked with finesse and precision.
The palette now includes nearly 200 shades - matte, satin, glossy, glittery, metallic or fancy (crocodile, snake...) - and different types of leather - bovine and ovine leathers, high-end or raw, precious marine leathers - to create jewelry with bohemian-chic inspirations, spread over more than 250 models.
But Nune isn't just about leather. Two other materials now feature in the collections:
- Cork, this amazing natural material, comes from the bark of the cork oak tree. It is lightweight, durable, and soft to the touch. It makes a beautiful vegan alternative to animal leather.
- Natural mineral stones, selected for their beauty, brilliance, and quality. Their rich range of colors also allows for the creation of customizable jewelry directly online.
Towards a more responsible fashion
At Nune, there's no overproduction or mass production: each piece of jewelry is made to order, according to your preferences. This made-to-order approach avoids waste, limits inventory, and guarantees a piece of jewelry that truly reflects your style.
Our leathers come from recycling: they are scraps and surpluses from the luxury industry, from European tanneries (French, Italian or Spanish), or from partner leather goods manufacturers.
Our natural mineral stones are carefully selected from suppliers committed to ethical sourcing that respects people and the environment.
The cork used is harvested in Portugal in an environmentally responsible manner.
Metal components are sourced in Europe whenever possible. Offering designs made entirely in Europe, preferably France, isn't always easy, but it's our goal. We are committed to continuous improvement in this area, constantly striving to enhance the quality of our jewelry and reduce its environmental impact.
A story of creation
Céline founded Nune at the end of 2020, driven by the desire to give new meaning to her professional life. An engineer by training, she finally chose to listen to what had always inspired her: creating. Her world is made of colors, materials, and handmade items: drawing, sewing, decorating, playing the piano, and photography… Jewelry naturally followed, especially earrings, those small accessories that brighten a face and express a personality.
Since 2024, Amélie has been working alongside him in the workshop. A trained florist, passionate about handmade items and local craftsmanship, she brings her artistic sensibility, her attention to detail, her sense of color… and a good dose of good humor to each piece!
